Mindy Donner folds her background in movement and puppetry arts into her storytelling repertoire, exploring myths, folktales and personal tales. She taught Learning Through the Arts at Cal State San Marcos for nine years, and produced original puppet plays for children and adults. Fred Laskowski loves to tell stories from around the world, from folk tales to true tales. He especially likes to tell stories of magic, mystery, and transforming power. Cathleen Chilcote Wallace is a Luiseño storyteller and elementary school teacher. Her Native Talk storytelling program integrates traditional Indian tales and local Native American history in a unique and engaging presentation. Cathleen’s goal is to educate and promote awareness of the rich native culture and history in Southern California through storytelling.

Linda Brown is a founding member of the Black Storytellers of San Diego. She has told for schools, museums, churches, and private parties. Her favorite stories are those with a moral and those that are realist, which means they could be true and leave you asking yourself, but are they really? She loves telling stories with a southern flavor because that is where her family originated. Her specialty is African American folklore and history.

Linda was raised on tall tales from her father, Native American stories from her Choctaw grandmother, and folk and fairy tales from her mother. She was a resident artist with Pacific Symphony’s Class Act, and Fullerton’s All the Arts for All the Kids for 19 years, and currently works in Arts in Corrections helping inmates find, shape, and tell their stories. Dr. Almena Lowe Mozon embraces you with stories designed to inspire and inform. Almena, from Greensboro, NC is a Clinical Psychologist, Life and Business Empowerment Coach and Staff Counselor at New Song Community Church in Oceanside, CA. She often sprinkles her inspirational, lesson-charged tales with melodic moments to increase the listeners’ joy.  Audiences of all ages in schools, churches, work places, and community gatherings are left wanting more.
